ARTICLE III Management Rights
5. The Management of the Company and the direction of the working force, including the right to plan, direct and control plant operations; to schedule and assign work to employees; to determine the means, methods, processes and schedules of production; to determine the products to be manufactured; the location of its plants and the continuance of its operating departments; to establish and require employees to observe Company rules and regulations; to hire, lay off, or relieve employees from duties; and to maintain order and to suspend, demote, discipline, and discharge employees for just cause, are the sole rights of the Company.
6. rights of Management not specifically set forth, the Company therefore retaining all rights not otherwise specifically covered by this Agreement.
7. The exercise by the Company of any of the foregoing rights shall not alter any of the specific provisions of this Agreement nor shall they be used to discriminate against any member of the Union.
