ARTICLE IV Union Security and Right to Work
8. All employees covered by this Agreement who on the execution date of this Agreement are members of the Union in good standing may choose to remain members of the Union or may choose to no longer be members of the Union as permitted by law. Employees who transfer into the unit, after the execution date of this Agreement, may, choose to become members of the Union or may choose not to become members of the Union as permitted by law. If an employee chooses to become or remain a member of the Union, they will be required to pay periodic dues uniformly required as a condition of retaining such membership. Employees who choose not to join or remain a member of the Union are not they would like to join the Union or maintain their membership. Each employee must update Workday or any other program used by the company of his or her current address and telephone number.
9. All employees who are in their probationary period on the effective date of this Agreement and all new employees covered by this Agreement hired after such date commencing on the thirty first day following the conclusion of their probationary period may choose to become members of the Union or may choose not to join the Union as permitted by law. If the employee chooses to join the Union, they must pay periodic dues and initiation fees. If the employee chooses not to join the Union, they are not required to pay dues or initiation fees.
10. All employees who choose not to join the Union will not be required to pay dues, but will remain covered by the terms of this Agreement.
11. Check off. An employee wishing to join the Union must sign a dues deduction authorization card. The Company will, upon receipt of the following duly signed dues deduction monthly for twelve (12) months each year the specified amount due to the Union by the employee for Union dues. All sums deducted shall be remitted to the authorized representative of the Union together with a list of the names of those employees from whom such deductions have been made. Upon the termination of the Union membership of an employee, payroll deductions will cease as to such employee. It being understood, that employment relationship with the Company.

Pursuant to the Agreement between the ISP Chemicals, LLC. (hereinafter called the Company) and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Lodge #1720 (hereinafter called the Union), in effect on this date, I hereby voluntarily authorize the Company to deduct from my earnings while employed in the established collective bargaining unit the regular monthly dues as established by the Union in accordance with its constitution and bylaws and to remit said amount to said local Union.
13. This authorization shall remain in effect and shall be irrevocable for a period of one (1) year from the date hereof, or until the termination of the collective bargaining agreement between the Company and the Union, whichever occurs sooner; and I agree and direct that this authorization shall be automatically renewed on like terms for successive annual periods of one (1) year so long as the Union continues to be the duly certified collective bargaining representative unless written notice of its revocation is given by me to the Company and to the proper officer of the local Union not more than twenty (20) and not less than five (5) days prior to the termination of the applicable collective bargaining agreement between the Company and the Union. Such notice of revocation shall become
effective for the month following the month in which written notice was received by the Company.
14. The Union shall indemnify, defend and save the Company harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that shall arise out of, or by reason of action taken by the Company in reliance upon employee payroll deduction authorization cards submitted by the Union to the Company.
15. It is the intent of the Company and the Union that these deductions shall comply with all Federal, State and Municipal regulations with regard thereto and any provision of this authorization that contravenes and laws or regulations is hereby declared null and void and of no effect.
