ARTICLE XXI Termination
149. 1. This Agreement shall become effective this eighth (8th) day of January 2023 at 6:00am and shall continue in full force and effect through the eighth (8th) day of January 2027 at 5:59am and for like periods thereafter unless modified or changed by mutual consent or as hereinafter provided.
If contract effective date (January 8th) is on Monday- increase will begin on Monday of that week. If Friday Sunday effective date, ing week.
150. 2. Either party hereto desiring to amend, modify or terminate this Agreement shall give the other party written notice of such intention at least sixty (60) days prior to the termination date of this Agreement. Within fifteen (15) days from receipt of such notice, the Company and the Union will start negotiations on the proposed changes. After a mutual Agreement has been reached on any of the proposed changes, this contract shall be amended to include and give effect to such changes and shall continue in full force for another contractual term. If the parties are unable to agree upon the proposed changes, this contract shall continue in effect as long as negotiations continue.
