ARTICLE VI Reporting Pay

24. An employee called to work or permitted to come to work, without having been notified that there will be no work to obviate the necessity of reporting to the plant (provided she worked the last preceding work period of her shift so that she could have been given notice), shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours at her basic straight time hourly rate, except that the Company shall not be liable for such minimum pay in the event that work is not available due to an Act of God, work stoppages, or an unforeseen emergency beyond the control of the Company. If the Company cannot use the employee in her regular capacity, and if the employee refuses to perform the work assigned to her for such minimum period, the Company shall not be liable for any payment.
